CaB 460 4.5x5.5  basic station 4 - General description

A welding station consist of a column and boom carrier of a sub arc welding machine.

The column and boom carrier is to travel on rails. The rail carriage is of 4-wheel type; four wheels on two shafts of the undercarriage are driven by a common DC motor. Tacho-regulated travel speed, 10-200 cm/min. Transport speed 2.0 m/min.

The welding heads is equipped with an automatic joint tracking device GMD.

LAF 1250, is a thyristorized 3-phase rectifier rated 1250 A at 100% duty cycle.

The output voltage is steplessly controlled by the PEH welding process controller.
